Round-edge aluminum tile trim that finishes ceramic and porcelain edges and protects them from chipping. Bright anodized in gold and silver, 2.8 m lengths, made by GETI.
A trim with a smooth rounded edge that covers cut tile edges on outside corners, bathrooms and kitchens, protecting them from chipping and leaving a safe finish with no sharp edges. It is extruded and bright anodized at the Golden East (GETI) factory, and is the rounded alternative to our straight-edge aluminum tile trim.
The rounded part of the trim sits over the tile edge and covers the raw cut, protecting it from chipping with daily use and removing sharp edges on outside corners, bathroom entrances, basin edges and kitchen counters. The round profile is smooth to the touch and easy on the eye, which suits high-traffic areas and homes with children.
The trim is bright anodized in-house. Anodizing grows an oxide layer from the aluminum surface itself, so it does not peel like paint, resists moisture and cleaning products, and keeps its shine. Silver suits white and grey tiles, while gold adds a premium touch to black marble and darker colors. To compare finishes, read bright vs. matte anodizing and anodizing vs. traditional metal coating.
Holes in the flat leg of the trim, round and diamond-shaped, let the tile adhesive or mortar flow through, so the trim locks under the tile and does not shift over time. It is fitted while laying the tiles: set the leg on the adhesive bed, then press the tile on top until its edge meets the rounded part.
